World of Tanks players can now download Update 2.4: Overdrive ahead of its official release. The update introduces six Tier XI vehicles and a brand-new German heavy tank line, alongside visual and audio upgrades and improved matchmaking. The preload package weighs 2.28 GB for the standard definition version or 2.97 GB for high definition.
Premium account holders receive 24 extra hours of Premium time to offset downtime during maintenance. Servers will go offline on September 1, 2026, from 07:30 UTC to 13:00 UTC, so plan purchases accordingly. Players can enable preloading in Wargaming.net Game Center by checking the "Download updates in advance" box and saving the settings.
The update also adds new Personal Missions and refinements to the matchmaking system, rounding out the biggest World of Tanks release of 2026.
