World of Tanks Update 2.4 introduces Operation Fossa, a new Personal Missions campaign tied to the debut of the Fossa VM 68. Commanders must retrieve classified data from the Architect’s Satellite while building the first German wheeled Tier X tank. The Fossa VM 68 blends high mobility with a 105 mm gun, excelling at flanking and precision strikes from unexpected angles.
Operation Fossa splits into three independent mission series—Vanguard, Ambush, and Assistance—each tailored to different combat roles. Completing the campaign grants the Fossa VM 68, an exclusive 3D style, and a roster of rewards including credits, bonds, and premium time. Players can also recruit Stefan "Niemand" Hans-Peter, a crew member with unique abilities and customization options.
The update pauses progress in other campaigns during Operation Fossa but remains accessible regardless of prior progress. Mission rewards scale from credits and experience to experimental equipment and crew training tools, with top performers earning badges and additional customization.
