World of Tanks has added the T49, a tier 9 American light tank, to its roster. Based on the M41 light tank, the T49 features a 90mm gun and improved mobility, offering players a faster, more agile option at its tier.
The update also introduces the Derp Kings event, a limited-time mode focused on low-damage, high-precision shots. Mines and the iconic Prokhorovka map return with adjustments to enhance gameplay. These additions coincide with a new replay channel dedicated to daily tank battles.
Players can test the T49 and event modes immediately. The Derp Kings event runs for a set duration, while the T49 remains available long-term. Prokhorovka’s tweaks aim to balance historical accuracy with modern tank combat.
