Solasta 2’s Early Access Update 1, arriving September 10, introduces the warlock class alongside two subclasses—the timekeeper and the dreamer—along with full co-op multiplayer for up to four players. The update lets groups join existing campaigns or start new ones, with hosts able to assign existing characters or allow players to bring their own. Party control can be split among members, and a voting system governs major story choices.
The warlock subclasses deviate from traditional D&D options. The timekeeper enhances ally speed and strips enemy reactions, while the dreamer manipulates nightmares to inflict exhaustion or sleep. Both subclasses rely on eldritch blasting for ranged damage. Additional features include expanded character customization, optional spell component rules, 30 new world events, cloud saves, and a cautious mode for controller play.

The update also includes stability fixes. A follow-up update later this year will add another class, two ancestries, the start of Act Two, a higher level cap, and a crafting system. Solasta 2 remains available on Steam.
