Sega is auctioning off a real-life motorcycle inspired by Shadow the Hedgehog's Dark Rider. The bike, manufactured by Bourget's Bike Works, is a unique piece of video game history and film memorabilia. It features a 1,750cc S&S Super Stock engine and an Ultimate six-speed gearbox, but is not operational due to a foam dummy fuel tank.
The motorcycle was created to promote Shadow's character in the Sonic 3 movie and was displayed at events like Gamescom. Sega has gifted the bike to the Luca Guintoli Foundation, a nonprofit that supports children with autism or cancer in England and Wales.
The auction will take place on October 10-11, 2026, as part of The Autumn Stafford Sale, with proceeds going to the foundation. This is the first time a piece of Sega memorabilia has been put up for auction, making it a rare opportunity for collectors to own a unique piece of gaming history while supporting a good cause.
