Capcom has responded to concerns that the Onimusha: Way of the Sword demo feels too easy.
Producer Akihito Kadowaki explained that the demo is a slice of the early part of the story and that the character was intentionally equipped with late-game skills to showcase his abilities.
The final game, due to arrive on September 25, 2026, will have tougher bosses and regular Genma, providing a greater challenge for players. The demo has reached one million downloads and is available to play now on PC and console.
