Hidetaka Miyazaki, the head of FromSoftware, told Japanese outlet Denfaminico Gamer that the studio is working on yet‑to‑be‑announced projects and that it remains "generally satisfied with the development environment" under parent company Kadokawa. He declined to discuss the recent activist‑investor actions at Kadokawa, emphasizing that FromSoftware can continue to develop the games it wants without excessive interference.
The backdrop to Miyazaki's remarks is a shareholder push by Hong‑Kong hedge fund Oasis Management, which has acquired a majority stake in Kadokawa and is demanding the current CEO’s removal. Oasis has also criticized Kadokawa for allowing FromSoftware to partner with third‑party publishers such as Bandai Namco instead of publishing games internally.

Miyazaki concluded by assuring fans that the studio will work harder than ever to deliver "truly valuable games" and urged players to look forward to both announced and unannounced titles. So far, the only confirmed upcoming release is the Switch 2‑exclusive multiplayer Duskbloods, but the hint of additional projects suggests more announcements may arrive before year‑end.
