CI Games announced that Lords of the Fallen 2, originally slated for a fall 2026 launch, will now arrive in early 2027. The shift gives the studio additional time for integration, iteration and polishing, according to CEO Marek Tyminski.
Tyminski explained that the decision also moves the title out of the immediate competition of Grand Theft Auto 6, which is set for a November 2026 release. He highlighted ongoing collaboration with the company’s Gameplay Feedback Team—seasoned souls‑like veterans—whose input has identified opportunities to refine the experience further.

The delay mirrors a broader pattern of developers adjusting schedules around blockbuster releases. GTA 6 itself has been postponed multiple times, from a fall 2025 target to its current November 2026 date, creating a ripple effect for other projects. Lords of the Fallen 2 is now expected in the first quarter of 2027, though no exact day has been confirmed.
