Konami has announced the release date for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, a new 2D game in the series. The game will be released on October 15 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The game is co-developed by Konami and Evil Empire, with advisory help from Motion Twin, and is set in 1499, 23 years after the events of Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse. Players will control Rose Belmont, the daughter of Trevor Belmont, as she explores areas such as Dracula’s castle and the catacombs of Paris.
A special Midnight Edition of the game will be available, offering extra content including a digital sound and art gallery, in-game items, and a SteelBook case. The game will also be coming to Nintendo Switch at a later date.
