The RX 9070 GRE still delivers impressive performance, closely matching the Nvidia RTX 5070 at stock speeds and beating it with undervolting. However, its value proposition relies on its price staying at or below MSRP.
If retailers price it similarly to the full RX 9070, the GRE's value disappears. For now, it's a recommended $550 card, but only if you can't find the superior RX 9070 at the same price.
