Microsoft is reportedly considering spinning off Xbox as a subsidiary, allowing it to be more autonomous and potentially easier to sell off in the future.
As part of this restructuring, Xbox will fast-track plans for new games in its biggest franchises, including Fallout and The Elder Scrolls.

The move comes as Xbox faces significant challenges, including a decline in annual revenue and increased hardware costs. Despite these challenges, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has approved a plan to spend more on top-tier games in the coming fiscal year, with a focus on developing new games in its biggest franchises.
