World of Warships: Legends has launched a summer update timed with the United States' 250th Independence Day anniversary. The patch introduces a "Three Eras of Freedom" collection, a "Big Chief" calendar, and a new 100‑milestone campaign that runs over five weeks.
Players can complete daily calendar tasks to earn the event currency Independium, which unlocks the legendary destroyer USS Burrows and a suite of skins inspired by different periods of U.S. naval history. The update also adds Commander Ernest E. Evans and three additional commander guises representing notable figures from American naval eras.

A fresh line of four U.S. alternative destroyers – Tier V Kane, Tier VI Hughes, Tier VII Osborne and Tier VIII Christopher – arrives with Advanced Radar, revealing enemy positions on the minimap when in range. These ships appear in special U.S. Alternative Destroyer crates and the "Steel Eagles" bundle, which also offers a chance at the Tier VIII Premium cruiser Cambridge. Completing the campaign with Admiralty backing rewards players with the Tier VIII Premium battleship Indiana and other items. Full patch notes are available on GamingTrend.
