Update 2.4 for *World of Tanks* transforms the pre-battle screen with Spotlight, a cinematic reveal of three players from your team. The feature highlights the central player’s performance stats, customization, and even their pet, if owned, with a countdown before battle begins.
Spotlight appears in Random Battles for Tier V+ vehicles, adapting to loading times. Players can skip the sequence with Esc, but the standard pre-battle screen remains at least 10 seconds before battle starts. The update also includes new maps like Himmelsdorf, Nordskar, and Highway, each offering unique visuals and audio effects.
To celebrate, returning players after 60+ days offline receive a reward package with 30-day Premium vehicles, ×5 XP missions, Personal Reserves, and 2D styles. The package includes rental vehicles like the Vz. 58 Medvěd and Prototipo 6, along with 30 days of WoT Premium Account bonuses.
