The use of tactical rocks in Warhammer miniatures has gotten out of hand. What started as a way to give dynamic poses has turned into an overused crutch. Miniatures like Maugan Ra, the Phoenix Lord of the Dark Reapers, are straddling two rocks at once, looking more like a guitar soloist than a character ready for battle.
The original intent was to make important characters stand out, but now it seems like insecurity. Even large characters like Kragnos, the End of Empires, are propped up on random stone protrusions. The tactical rocks have become ridiculous, with some miniatures looking like they're surfing down rubble.

It's time to tone down the tactical rocks and bring back transparent flight stands. This would make the miniatures look more realistic and less fragile. The excessive use of tactical rocks has become a plague, and it's time for a change.
