Digital Extremes has revealed new content for Warframe and Soulframe at TennoCon 2026. The Tau expansion for Warframe will introduce a new galaxy to explore, filled with new threats. Soulframe will receive a new fable questline, focusing on the reveal of a new weapon and darkside powers.
The Tau expansion is the biggest shift forward for Warframe, according to creative director Rebecca Ford. It will add a full second solar system to explore, with new stories and a new type of Warframe known as Brysko.
Soulframe's new fable questline, Warsongs, will be released this Fall and will add more details to the player character's origin story. The game will also receive new quality-of-life updates, including player mounts and a new fishing mini-game.
