Valve has confirmed that its Steam Machine and Steam Frame will be released this summer. The company had previously announced a vague 2026 release window, but has now narrowed it down to summer 2026.
The Steam Machine and Steam Frame were initially delayed due to the global component price surge, which affected the announcement of pricing and release details.
Valve's Verified program will be expanded to include the devices, aiming to help customers understand the out-of-box experience for games on these new devices. Games that already run well on the Steam Deck handheld will also run well on Steam Machine by default.
