Ubisoft has pushed version 1.1.11 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, marking the last content drop for the title. The update arrives with a new story quest called Black Tides, which unlocks after players finish the Naoe and Yasuke main campaign and complete the post‑launch quests A Critical Encounter and A Puzzlement. The mission pits the protagonists against two elite Templars known as Black Cross, adding a fresh narrative thread to the game’s conclusion.
Two Animus Hub crossover projects, Riptides and Undertow, also debut, offering themed outfits, weapons and trinkets that reward progress in both Shadows and the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. These projects are unavailable on Nintendo Switch due to the Black Flag Resynced crossover. A new end‑game mode called Domains introduces five gameplay simulations across ten difficulty levels, granting classic Assassin’s Creed weapons and other exclusive gear to players who master the challenges. Additionally, the Horizon Animus Rift becomes accessible after completing the two prior rifts.
The patch rounds out with a series of bug fixes, balance tweaks and UI improvements, while Ubisoft notes that future updates will focus solely on performance and stability.
