Oblivion Remastered is set to release on the Switch 2 on August 11. The PC version, however, still suffers from various bugs and glitches. Despite a few post-release patches, issues like wonky character models, dark lines across characters' eyelids, and other problems persist.
The Switch 2 version will feature motion controls, touch screen integration, and a full game cartridge. In contrast, the PC version's current state makes a modded version of the original game a better option for Steam Deck players.
A patch for the PC version would be a welcome update, especially considering the work done to optimize the game for the Switch 2.
