A live-action Persona TV series is reportedly in development at Netflix, based on the critically acclaimed RPG franchise from Sega and Atlus. The show will be written and executive produced by Christopher Monfette, with Shawn Levy and Robert Atwood also attached as executive producers.
The project is still in its early stages, and it's unclear if the plot will be based on a specific game in the series or introduce a new story. The Persona franchise has a wealth of material to draw from, with five mainline games and numerous spin-offs and remakes.
Fans will have to wait for more information on the series, including a release date and casting details. Netflix has previously worked with 21 Laps, the production company behind the show, on projects like Stranger Things.
