Netflix unveiled a new trailer and still images for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 at Anime NYC, offering the first extended look at Season 2’s high-stakes action and tragic arcs. The English-language trailer introduces Clancy Brown as Weak Kingsley, a veteran Edgerunner descending into cyberpsychosis, alongside glimpses of his past assignments and a hospital bedside scene with Talia Yang.
D, a Snake Nation nomad, also takes center stage in the footage, with a voiceover hinting at survival, vengeance, and a burning campsite. The trailer cuts between Night City’s signature ultraviolence and quieter moments, including a desert confrontation between D and Roman Carax. New images show Kingsley’s physical decay from cyberpsychosis and a tense standoff with a MaxTac hovercraft.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 arrives October 20 as a 10-episode standalone story set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. Studio Trigger has yet to reveal full details, but the trailer and images suggest a darker, more relentless season than the first.
