Lenovo's Legion Go handheld gaming PC is experiencing issues with a recent BIOS update, version N3CN42WW, which is causing devices to brick. The update is still available on Lenovo's support servers despite user reports of black screens and ineffective BIOS self-healing.
The scope of the issue is unclear, but affected users are advised not to update and to seek assistance from Lenovo if their device is still under warranty. Those whose warranty has expired are being quoted over $250 for repairs.

Some users have taken matters into their own hands, with one Redditor attempting a non-standard recovery approach and another company, PitStop Computers, working on a fix. Lenovo has not yet issued an advisory notice about the BIOS update.
