Developer BlackJack Studio has revealed Langrisser: Sea of Sword, the next game in the long-running Langrisser RPG franchise. The game marks a next-generation leap for the series and is set to release globally on iOS, Android, Steam, and PC.
The story takes a darker, more intense direction, focusing on the clash of factions and struggle for power. Players take on the role of a nameless protagonist trying to regain their lost memories while traveling with a mysterious white-haired girl.
The game's soundtrack was composed by renowned RPG composer Yasunori Nishiki, and the development team includes experienced members from BlackJack Studio, which also developed Langrisser Mobile. A specific release date has not been provided, but the game is now open for pre-registration.
