PC Partner, a top contract manufacturer behind brands like Zotac and Inno3D, says GPU supply will tighten significantly in the coming months, with entry-level cards bearing the brunt. The company’s factories in China are already running at capacity, and third-quarter shipments of Nvidia’s RTX Blackwell GPUs are down from Q2, with further declines expected by year’s end.
The squeeze isn’t just about memory. Lead times for PCBs and power components have also stretched, compounding shortages across the board. Even mid-range cards like the RTX 5070 are hovering around $800, and the trend suggests affordable options won’t escape the price hikes.

AMD’s contract manufacturer Sapphire faces the same constraints, meaning both Nvidia and AMD cards could become less accessible. With no clear relief in sight, the market may soon leave budget-conscious gamers with fewer viable choices.
